The bicycle is more than just a recreational tool for competition and fitness. There are many parts of the world where it can actually be the difference between life or death, food or hunger, medicine or illness.
In 2008, Pedal Power Cycling will partner with the World Bicycle Relief organization to help combat illness, famine, and poverty. More details will be available in the 2008 team contracts.

On Saturday mornings, team members will work with shop management to fix up donated bikes. The bikes will then be given to transplanted families from war-torn countries.
