member of over 10 first place triathlon/duathlon relay teams for full, half, and sprint distance events~competed in just over 100 cycling events in career~2003 Bluegrass State Games, 1st place~2005 Lexington Circuit Race, 1st place~2005 Barbasol RR, 1st place~2nd overall, 2005 KY/IN series~18th 2006 Masters Natl RR, Seven Springs, PA~Silver medals in time trial & RR, 2006 Intl Gay Games, Chicago

Racing Goals:
To recover from knee surgery/leg fracture and ride/race strong. Continue to race in new venues, different states, and internationally. To podium at Master's Nationals. Add aquabike events. Do more time trials. Enjoy racing with the women's team, remember that cycling is fun, and stay safe.


Jon Edwards

Beth Hellebusch
Occupation: I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with teenagers with mental health and substance abuse problems.

To finish?? No really, my goal is to support my strong teammates in capturing many Pedal Power wins.

Racing Highlights:
Costing Dean Akers money at the 2006 State Games~Silver medal at 2004 State Games~Surviving my first Cat 3/4 race last year.

Racing Goals:
Race hard, fast and smooth at every opportunity. Help my teammates in whatever capacity I can during the race. Race competitively.  Never hear my daughter say, "Daddy you have to go faster!"

Occupation: Researcher. Currently trying to figure out how computers can do the boring work such as watch tv  so that humans can have fun and ride bikes instead.

2006 Exploding in style when trying to go below 5 hours on the Taylorsville half-iron course. Going out at a slow pace is boring!

Do the half iron in less than 5 hours, Gather enough courage to sign up for the full iron distance.
